    Smile My other new addition

I also got one of the two crested geckos I have been waiting on. He was smaller than I was expecting, but he's still pretty.

Here is an unboxing video and don't mind me as I talk to my self towards the end of the video. I didn't have time to edit this morning before I uploaded it.

    And some pictures.

    Thank you.

I'm glad to have him now. I will admit I am a little disappointed with him, I thought he would be more yellow, but he's still gorgeous. He'll work nicely with the cream colored project I want to work on.

Cresties are one of the easiest reptiles to care for.

He is darker than I remember when I saw your first post of you buying him. I think he still has some nice dorsal and lateral cream, plus he has some solid structure that should be beneficial to the offspring.

Do you think you will have anyone big enough to pair this year? I hope my girl is big enough, if she isn't no big deal. That just means a possibly better following year.

I think the picture I originally got of him he wasn't fired up at all. He got some interesting color to him after I misted him tonight, but he's not the blinding yellow he was described as.

What does worry me about him is his tail seems to bend off to one side. I don't think it's floppy tail syndrome though because he still gripes with it just fine. If you look at the first picture that is how his tail usually sits.

I am getting a proven breeder female creamsicle as soon as the weather permits on the sellers end, but I don't know if I want to put him in with an adult female just yet. He's not quite full grown but I do have my boy Ivan that I could breed with her. He's my dark partial pin stripe and it might be interesting to see what would come from that pairing. Everyone else is too small to breed, my biggest female that I current have on hand is only like 12-13g. I think I need to start feeding them more crickets.

Looking at the current pictures, he was definitely fired down in the sellers shots. I'd love to see some more pictures of him at different times of the day. Some of mine are amazing to see when they decide to fire up, but other times they are completely different.

You still have a few months of Q-time and a couple of months before breeding season is due. How much does he currently weigh? If he is a bug eater he could gain some weight pretty easily if he settles in nicely.

I've been feeding mine roaches after every cycle. The cycle equals: Day 1 fresh CGD, Day 2 leave CGD, Day 3 feed dubia roaches, Day 4 repeat cycle. All of mine have been exploding in size. I'm pretty excited to them in a few months!
