    post-ovy palpating?

    is it ok to palpate after ovy? i would like to know how many follicles she has.

    I'm a little rusty on my vocabulary, but I believe they are ova after ovulation, not follicles any more. Aside from that, I'm afraid I can't halp because I don't palpate. I'm know plenty of people do it successfully, but since it isn't going to improve the outcome of the breeding in any way, I prefer not to poke and prod my snakes' bellies to satisfy my own curiosity.

    Why would you palpate after she ovulates. Just wait the 30+ days for the eggs to be laid. Chances of even getting a good number once ovulation occurs is slim.

    the eggs will be too large and squeeshy by then to feel. you also then run the risk of injuring the eggs or your female. Just wait
