    Almost every female I've bred that wasn't eating well did so after starting to lock up.
    If they don't eat well they have a higher chance of throwing slugs, it's important for the female to go on her feeding frenzy after pairing her.
    Luckily most do just that, so if you see her acting hungry all of a sudden, acting like she wants to take your head off when you open the tub/enclosure, then that's the time to start offering her more meals.
    She needs those meals especially if she's been off feed since November, good luck
