Thats a really cool looking skull/hide. Just wondering, what kind of substrate is that?
Its really great when they eat successfully (3 of mine just ate no problem ). If the meal was approriately sized (not too small), then I would be inclined to give my snake 48 hours before any sort of handling. I've heard of people handling their snakes 24 hours after feeding and getting regurgitations from their snake afterwards.
I would of left him in his hide... I went down stairs and he poked his head out as to say "hey what about me"
Most times I run with the 24-48 hour rule and handling is minimal. He came out and right on the bed to hang forma few, then back into his tank. I feed out of the enclosure so he is handles with in 30 mind of eating.
That's Aspen, white on the hot side, black on the cool side!! More for the owners visual gratification.
