I agree that bumblebees are going out unless its a het. And its hard to find a good quality lemon blast.

I'd go with something with yellowbelly or black pewter like jinx suggested.
Maybe go for some single gene hets. For example: pastel het hypo, mojaves het hypo, spider het hypo, etc etc.
There's a lot of neat things that come out of recessive gene breedings.

Re: What ball python morphs should I get into?

Depends on what you like. I like spiders, bumblebee, a nice pastel would also be good. There is lots of other stuff that's nice, but the price tag starts going up. So, I would just go and see what strikes your fancy. Then you can decide how many snakes you want and how much to spend on each. Once you go look, you will probably find something you fall in love with, and presto, decision made. Have fun shopping!

    Possible Males I would consider:
    Fire YB
    Vanilla Pin
    Fire Fly
    Black Pewter

I would then get a Vanilla or Fire Female to round out the group for now.

That is my opinion, there really are a million ways to go on this one.

I agree with this.....I have seen sooooooooooooooo many bees and lemonblast in the last few years its crazy, way to many put there...and low quality at that......I'm only getting a bee because it looks amazing when mixed with the clown gene.

And even with that said its a bee het red axanthic and its gotta be perfect....no spots!

Less(er) is more. I love my lesser female and can't wait to breed her. With that budget, I go with a kingpin male and something like a fire/black pastel/spider single-gene female (or dual-gene, if the budget works out). Getting recessive hets is cool, too, except you won't know what offspring from your normal females are carrying the gene (will all be 50% poss hets).

I personally would not deal with a het unless you also have a visual.

There are a ton of ways to go. Bumblebees can be overdone ill admit but they are still one of my favorites. If u get a nice one its an ausome addition to anyones collection. Garrick Demeyer has always sent me beautiful snakes. And the fact u can get 3 morphs out of a single pairing appealed to me. but everyones opinion is different.
