Question about ovulation

Everyone says that you can't miss ovulation when you see it because it's extremely obvious and looking at the pictures I would agree. My question is how long does ovulation typically last because I have read that you can miss it.

Im not positive but i wanna say like only a day or two...?

1 to 2 days but usually over within 24hrs

I would say it's very obvious for a couple days, but it's also very noticable for a few days before and after.

From what I have read and heard, it happens over a 24 hour period. I missed the ovulation of my only breedable female last year. This year I caught one of three.

Last year I caught only 1 out of 7 ovy's. I travel during the week though so this could be why.
