Positive thoughts please?
I'm not a religious person by any means but I do believe in positive thinking begetting positive outcome.
I found out yesterday that I have a fairly decent sized cyst on my left ovary and that it has caused torsion out twisting of my fallopian tube.
I have an appointment today with my dr to find out what we're going to do about it since he wanted me to come in for that talk. Everything I've read online (i know, don't read medical online) has said that for cysts that have twisted, you basically have to have surgery. I've only "been under" once and that was to have a wisdom tooth cut out so I'm super nervous about even the possibility.
That said, if you also believe in positive thought, good vibes, etc; could you push a few out there for me today?

I had a cysts before, they hurt like hell. Never had one twist. I would think that would be a relatively easy procedure. Hope all goes well!

My sister actually had surgery for the exact same thing and it really was not a big deal. It was a super quick and easy procedure, and she recovered quickly. So don't be too worried! We will keep you in our thoughts!

Good luck! Hopefully you don't react badly to any medications you receive during or after surgery.

If it makes you feel better...My 8 year old just had her appendix removed and she did very well. You will be in a lot less pain after it is removed. Not to impose religion, but, if you had faith it would be a lot easier to deal with thing like this . Just my 2 cents.

My wife has had cysts on her ovaries and she has surgery on them numerous times. The surgery that she always had was minimally intrusive and it was always outpatient surgery. She always seemed to be sore only for a couple of days after the surgery and then she felt great! Hope everything goes well for you!
