Re: Ball Python Ban
Something tells me that I know this and I think the answer is no. Is there other exotic animals that are ban... Such as rats, g-pigs, Ferrets, larger birds, such as Perrets and such. I don't know, but I am pretty sure its just those snake. that was mentioned.
The reason why I ask is because in League City, TX the there is a no exotic pet law. Any reptiles (geckos, bearded dragons, and snakes of any size), rodents of any sorts, large mammals such as big cats, you know Tigers and lions, bears, wolves... Pit Bulls. So I am in agreement with there laws.
But on the one in Chula Vista Cali, What snake is there then that is legal to keep. I am not that aware of maybe like the texas blind snake that is under 3 feet.

Look what people need to realize is that the snake bans are going to be added everytime other exotic bans are mentioned. They are throwin as much crap against the wall to see what sticks. The facts that so many of these are being shot down should show that they are reaching. We have support. The tax dollars that snakes represent are what is allowing these snake bans to be tabled. I think soon the federal ban will be lifted as well. We need to stay vigilant and keep up with the lobbying. We are gaining headway

Ferrets are already illegal in California and have been for over 15 years

Please explain...are you saying there is "no exotic pet law" or that there is one?
If there is one are all the animals you listed part of that ban?
If so, when did "Pitbulls" become an exotic animal?
Also, if there is such a ban and all the animals listed are part of that ban, are you saying you agree with said animals being banned?
So I am in agreement with there laws.
Sorry for my confusion, I just don't understand your post.
