heat tape question

which way do i tape the heat tape to the cage...im assuming that the silver metal strip should be facing up against the cage, is that right?

Yes, but I'd secure it to whatever you keep the enclosure on, not the enclosure itself. Makes removing the enclosure for any reason much easier....

I always tape the flexwatt to my PVC cages silver side up

i was told by a few ppl its best to tape on the enclosure if its pvc

Interesting, good to know. I only use racks and tubs now, but I have a boaphile enroute with belly heat, so thank you.
