My Nicaraguan Boa " Pandora "

I would like to introduce you all to the newest member of my growing reptile family. Say hello to " Pandora " she`s an 8 month old Nicaraguan Boa Poss Het Leopard. I got her from Shawn MacPhee .... Big thumbs up to Shawn for parting with such a gorgeous animal .... Thanx again

Only took a couple quick pics last nite as i wanted to get her into her new home and get settled as she had eatin the nite b4. And good thing too ... as soon as her tail was inside the enclosure she gave me my 1st urnate and liquid present lol

So without further ado here she is .......

    Nite i got her ...

    1st appearance

    Getter braver ...

And 2nite was her 1st meal with me ... she hits like a train

    After her meal chillin ...

    Cheers,

    John

Nice looking Nic. They can be handfuls. Just scoop him up and take him out.

Great looking boa. Leopard lines actually arose from the Sonoran boas, so I'd be hesitant to call her a Nic. She definitely has that Sonoran influence.

She's a beaut! I agree, she's definitely got a little Sonoran in her, but she's absolutely gorgeous none the less. I love the head pattern on her too!

Nics can be quite the handfuls like The Win Wizard said, just troop through their hissy fits. Usually they're just talk, and when they're not, well it doesn't hurt that much anyways Keep handling her and she'll tame down.

    Thanx Alexandra

Yeah she gets all hissy when i go for her but no strikes yet ... i just slide my hand under her and scoop her up then she`s fine. She chilled on my chest for about 20 mins b4 she went off exploring 2nite ... all in all i think she`s settling in nicely

    Cheers,

    John
