    Unhappy Ball python stuck!!!

    I don't know what to do, my bp is stuck inside the gap on his water dish. I dont know if i should pull hard or gently, but when I try and get him out he makes a strange whistling noise and sometimes hisses. PLEASE HELP

    I would just leave it alone for a little bit and see if he comes out himself.

    would it be possible to get a picture of what is going on? I'm having a hard time picturing this

    are you sure that your snake is actually stuck? He looks like he has found a nice place to hide. He will probably hold onto it for dear life and will be a pain to get out. I would just leave him and see if he comes out in a day or so.

    OK thank you I was pretty sure he was stuck because the picture does look like it has a larger gap than in person i'm just not sure but I will give him time and see if he emerges. If he actually is still stuck in a couple of days, what should I do?

    You'd be amazed what these guys can squeeze into. I highly doubt he's stuck. I think if he's not acting normally once it gets close to feeding time then I'd worry. I bet if you let a live hopper mouse loose in his enclosure he'd find a way out quick

    Yes but the other side of the opening is narrower and his tail and upper body are what appear to be stuck.
