    racks and hides

I watched a lot of videos on YouTube and read a lot about peoples racks so I decided to build one and I did a 4 tub adult rack and I also read a lot about two hides witch my snakes do have now there still in seperate enclosures not in rack(temps and everything fine) but all these racks I see in videos have one hide is it because they feel more safe in a rack only one hide is neccessary? I'm gonna stay with two for now they def utilize them jw

I only have one hide in each of my tubs. They are lightweight, so the BP just moves it to where it is the right temperature at the moment. I don't see a need for having two hides in there.

The answers in this thread are outstanding...not because they're all the same, but because they clearly point out that each of these keepers understand what each of their snakes need to thrive.

That is the key to your question. Observe your BP's, listen to what their behavior is telling you, and before long, you'll know what each one needs...
