Not wanting to sound absurd or anything, but how can you tell that the last one is indeed a ringer and not a pied? (Still trying to understand the whole ringer thing.)

I would guess the op knew the breeding and one parent wasn't carrying the pied gene at all. With that ringer I'd put money in it being a get though!!! Those cinny hets always seem to throw wierd things
