Yes, it could be a pre ovy shed, or she could just be shedding.

Personally, I think that looking for a pre ovy shed is a waste of time. Some females shed right before they ovulate, some shed weeks to months before. In other words, whether its her last shed before ovulation or not, it doesnt tell you much.

Wait for the ovulation to start counting down to eggs.
