Well it's 415 and the job is about done. Seeing as tho it was past 11pm when I found the problem I couldn't go to the store for anything to kill mites. I hear they don't work well anyway. I started by taking my hypo out and noticed that he too had a few. I bathed him first knocking off any of those evil creatures. Then I inspected him very closely to find the ones In his scales once I found them I drowned them in water so they would come out a little, then I squeezed them out like you would a pimple! The ones around the head and pits are pain but I finally got them. The one in the pit I used a damp q-tip to rub out. Then I bleached the hell out of evvvverything soaked it all in water to drown the remaining A holes. I did this for all my snakes. I put down paper towels on the floor of their tubs so if any are creeping around I'll know and I'll start the whole process again.

Ok now so how did I get the mites? I picked up a baby normal from pet co last week. Which like drinking milk on a hot day was a bad choice. But hey whatever it's not the animals fault so I showed him the same love I did my ghost and got all the little boogers off him. So the moral of the story is I must really love these snakes to still be up doing this.
