Poor babies! So glad they both have a safe happy home now! I love seeing videos of people handling snakes who KNOW HOW to handle snakes. You are so calm and gentle with them, which is EXACTLY how any snake needs to be handled, but ESPECIALLY one that has been through trauma. I have several friends that are both curious and terrified about my snake, but I will not let them ever hold her unless they can prove to me that they can do it without squealing and flailing around.
Kudos to you for providing a new home for two very deserving rescues. Buddy couldn't look more healthy, that is a well fed, well cared for snake!! Lucy obviously has a long road to recovery ahead of her, but she is definitely in safe and loving hands. Keep it up! Karma will catch up to you for your kindness.
