bloods are unique creatures, but as others have mentioned, there not as "forgiving" as BP's. BUT, as long as your a compatant BP owner, theres no reason that you cant take care of a blood or STP.
A thing that you might consider before getting one is to have the proper housing for one. Odviously, your going to need a 4' long cage in the long run, but as babies they prefer a smaller space to feel secure. If you decide to get one, you wont regret it, they are a blast to wach grow!!!
