    East Bay Vivarium?

All right San Francisco area people this is for you! Does anyone have any experience with the retail store east bay vivarium? They are close to where I live, and have a great number of species in stock. However, the reviews I could find were very mixed. I hope to get a new snake from them, but I am a bit unsure. Anybody dealt with them?

Been there many times. They have knowledgeable staff and a ln excellent selection of animals. They can be a bit snoody (know it all's), and IMO are a little overpriced (allthough, this I'm sure is a reflection of their inflated bay area rent). I haven't had any issues with animals from them, one time a friend did say he got something with mites from them.

I go every few weeks. It's a nice store with a good selection. I usually just get rats and feeders there when my breeders aren't producing.

I believe that their reptiles are overpriced, but I also understand that they're a business and have bills to pay like everyone else.

Their animals look healthy. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. I've never gotten a snake there personally. I did try to get a few morphs on few occasions, but they didn't have the ones I wanted available.

I can recommend a fantastic breeder nearby if you want balls. His prices are fair and animals are healthy. He lives a few exits away from EBV.

Overall, EBV is a good store and I will recommend them.

Are you talking about Bill? If so, I agree he is the best around here. Most of my cool stuff has come from him.

    Re: East Bay Vivarium?

They are great! They are usually very busy, so they aren't to apt to just chit-chat with you, but they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I drive my local pet shop people there sometimes to pick up feeders and animals, and they always take out whatever and let us handle it.
My amazon tree boa is from them, and is completely healthy in every way, and was that way when I got her. They're prices in general are a bit higher, but you get to see the animal in person before buying, don't have to pay for/ wait for/ agonize over shipping, and they do have a large overhead. Plus you're helping keep the money in the community! I definitely recommend them!

    Yeah Bill!
I love that guy. He's super helpful.
I got one of the best Black Pastel females I've ever seen from him. And he gave me an awesome deal. I'm going to get more girls from him this season.

    SORRY!

Back on point, if you havent been to the vivarium yet, head over there, its worth the trip. Overpriced but a lot of overhead so its kinda understandable.
