All the temps in her set up are ok and the humidity is good, she drinks regular and soaks I check her water and there's no evidence of mites, she's very active a night and I've tried every trick in the book to get her to feed but to no prevail.... Can someone help please... In the uk by the way..

We would need more specific information about the setup to be of any help. What are the exact temperatures? How and where inside the enclosure are you measuring them. What is the humidity level? What kind of substrate do you use? Are you providing hides for your bp? A picture of the setup might help as well.

Just so you know, a soaking ball python is not typically normal. Out of my 15 or so ball pythons, I have one who soaks almost constantly, but I have never witnessed any of the others soaking.

The set is a wooden viv bout 2ft by 1ft with two hides either side lots of cover plants and a huge water bowl and plenty of places to hide.. The ambient temps are 84 and and a hot spot of 90.... With a cool side. Humidity ranges between 70 and 75 %. She seems happy enough....

Oh yeah also forgot to add that I'm using aspen shavings as substrate, was told that it hold moister better for the humidity...

Humidity is a bit high. Should be 60 at most unless in a shed. Tank also seems a bit small. I'd bump up the size a bit.

Are you feeding rats or mice?
    live or F/T?

What was the breeder or previous owner feeding?

If feeding live how are you offering?
If F/T how are you offering?

Have you contacted the breeder or previous owner to discuss how he/she was feeding?

Pics of the enclosure would help with figuring out any husbandry issues. If pics are not available please describe in greater detail how you have your cage setup.

    Heat sources?
    Thermostats and placement of probes?
    Thermometer and placement of probes?
hides? What size and type? Do you have at least 2?

Lighting? is she getting a decent day/night schedule? At night is the room dark?

    How often are you handling?
