Ball Python and a small dog??

One other concern I would have with that situation is if the dog shows interest in the snake while it's in its cage, that could stress the BP out. But I guess if you had the tank/tub up high enough where the dog couldn't just sit there and stare at it, it probably wouldn't be an issue.

Ball Pythons spend most of the day in a hide, and are only really out and about during the night. since they are hiding most of the day I doubt that your dog will take much interest in a ball python.
