Biting self?????
Okay guys.. so heres the thing!
My one and a half year old normal ball who i got around christmas has some eating issues..
Not the normal kind either..
She will grab her prey (FT) and constrict ect, but after that step she will get in the most awkward positions i have ever seen! Theses angels she gets her self in make it so she cant even swallow the mouse! Shes had to spit them out before. But the thing im woried about the most is when she opens her mouth to swallow the mouse more she ends up grabbing her self due to the odd positions shes eating! Shes got her self pretty good a couple times..
Please! any advice would be great!!
Thanks so much!

Hi,
How do you warm the prey?
I'm wondering if making the preys head hotter might change how she approaches it.

If you don't do it already, I suggest warming the head of the prey item with a hair dryer like Dr. Del said. Naturally that would be where the snake ought to grab the animal, so making it warmer makes it easier for them to pinpoint the best spot to grab it. That might make it easier for her to eat them since her mouth is already in the right spot.
