    quick feeding question

    hey everyone...yesterday i fed my BP and he ate like he normally does but when i opened the box the rat was in he was wayyyy smaller than i thought he was gonna be... my question is.... can i give him another rat today or just wait 5 days and feed again? thanks in advance!!!

    it would depend on how much smaller the rat was compared to what you normally feed. we made that mistake with ours and we feed her again the next day just to make sure she was full and not still hungry

    i dont know how much smaller by weight but i know the general size i feed and these were much much smaller.... should i try one more today? i guess my real concern is... is it going to be harmful to him...

    Does your snake still seem hungry? If the snake is still hunting around then I would say it would be ok to feed him otherwise just wait the five days.

    I would just wait. Your snake will be fine and there are risks associated with overfeeding. So if youre not positive what the weights of the rats were then you should probably wait 5 days.

    I would wait too. As long as your snake got a meal he will be just fine until the next meal. Definately would wait rather than over feed.

    ok i will wait then. i was stupid and didnt weigh the rats before i fed him. i did give him 2 rats but i know for a fact that they were under weight. but i will go with everones opinion and just feed him wednesday. thanks guys
