Robin, I have not lived a perfect life, far from it, but that doesn't mean I don't have the right and responsibility to judge the world the people around me. I expect no less in return, and have been judged for my actions my whole life. No one gets a free pass.
Logic dictates that not judging the people and the world around you is akin to sticking your cranium in the sand and trusting that everything will be alright.
The whole, "Judge not, lest ye be judged" line of reasoning has it's roots in Christian mythology. While I find those stories fascinating, Christian mythology doesn't dictate how I live my life anymore than Norse, Greek, Roman, Celtic, or Hindu mythology does.
