OOO Look what my neighbor was trying to throw away :D

So my my next door neighbor owns a couple convience stores and well I do have a large black truck he likes to borrw for dump runs ETC. Well last week he asked if I would mind helping him load some stuff and take it to the recycling center and dump. I figured sure it usually get me a full tank of gas in my 78 K2500 silverado usually thats close to $100. So we run to his store and start loading stuff up and the last Item in the pile is a very nice Pepsi Display Fridge
So me being the nice guy I am tell him I will gladly take care of the freon in the unit for him and if he was just gunna throw it away I would love to keep it. As we were loading it into the truck I notice it has R134 freon in it. I am an auto Mechanic and well freon is getting a little spendy these days so I took it to work sucked the freon out of it and gutted the interior. The light still work I wired a couple outlets to the bottom and Inside and well now I just need flexwatt and a T-stat. All in all I call that a Great Saturday Full tank of gas and a new Incubator

Beyond that... Those Maschine's run in the thousands. (more for the better ones..) My dad works at Pepsi, and has for almost 15 years, we've only been able to obtain 3 OLD pop machines... Pepsi is stingy with what they let go now a days...

    So yes... YOU'RE LUCKY... lol..

That's awesome and good for you! The only thing my neighbor throws out and onto my yard is his dogs' crap... Hahahahahaha! Nice pickup snagging that and good luck getting it set up to start hatching eggs!

now thats what i call recycling!

who would of thought old pepsi machine = new reptile incubator lol

when i first saw it I thought that would make an awesome arboreal setup being that its insulated and everything, but i guess the incubator use is even more practical. nice score
