    BP's can "squeak" or pop slightly when they are held. It seems to be related to stress/excitement. If he's only doing it when held, I'd assume he's fine until you see other signs of an RI as has already been mentioned.

    Everyone else has given great advice! I also do my tanks up the way Robbie suggested and it's worked great for me too. Don't give a moment's thought to anyone judging you - we're just happy you're here asking questions and that you want to learn! We all start somewhere...
