    I only handle mine during the day when I do a day time enclosure cleaning. The rest of the time I hold them at night. I read some where that if you are having feeding issues don't disturb them during the day. They are nocturnal they sleep during the day. Us humans sleep at night I don't know about you but I'm not to happy when woke up in the middle of the night. That's just my 2 cents worth not telling anybody what to do
