    Contrary to old school rumors hatchlings do very well in 28qt tubs after getting them started in smaller tubs.

    We have all of our 2011's in 28qt tubs now and they all eat very well.

    I also recommend not taping the heat pad to the bottom of a tub as that thread shows you, the heat source gets taped the the shelf the tub sits on, and the probe gets taped to the heat source.
    I like to sterilize the tub once a month or so, it's pretty difficult to do that with the heat pad taped to the tub
