Where are the ones from back in the day? Back when bp.net didn't even have it's own domain name, when the site was tan and black, still running on postnuke. Who is left?

For those of you who do not know, I am the Godfather, the original of the real OGs on bp.net. And... I brought Jeff.

Oh Damn son! Im def up in here! My boy The_Godfather brought me back! Me and OP made this place from the ground up. We are the OGs. Damn guys, I haven't even typed this URL into my browser for what seems like a decade. It's so awesome to see what this has become.

Smulkin is gone, unfortunately. Life took him another direction. I'm the only "old guard" left as far as the original administrator team goes. Yes, we've put in a LOT of work over the years to grow the site into what you see now.

Yeah, Smulkin and Smynx kinda go together.

We've got a five-man admin team right now. We work together as a team. Plus the mod team, of course, who work to keep things in order around here.

Some of the members who were around in the old-old days that still participate are Ironhead and Randy Remmington. Steelsack pops in from time to time, but haven't seen him lately. That's all I can think of from those earliest days.

I just have to say I'm sure the site would have come to be how it is today whether or not it had the same owner, domain name, designer, etc. Every site has to start somewhere, it's where people take it that matters in the end.

Has anyone heard from Smulkin? Him and I would chat it up quite a bit back in the day. He'd send me DVD-R's of tunes and I bought him an EMG 81 for his guitar which he was so happy! I know he was breeding (or trying, at least) blood pythons? He hasn't even logged into Yahoo IM in probably 4-5 years?

I haven't heard from Matt in years. And haven't heard of anyone else speaking with him either. I hope all is well with him and his family and all his critters.
