I think that theres just no need for it.. when you but a 50% or 65% het, you buy it as a known gamble.. these snakes are less expensive because they are gambles,,, so why would you spend HUNDREDS of dollars on a $50 snake? I can see where it might come in handy with hybrids, but again im asuming that the cost of dna testing would probabaly out weigh any benifits of knowing.. plus, in order to get positive DNA, you would also need a "control" and im pretty sure that theres no ball python DNA data base at this point,,,,, so now, your gona need to get DNA test on 2 (or more) animals for a positive control....
botom line, for the average joe, its just not feesable..
just my thoughts though.
