scales and humidity

so i noticed today that my baby bloods scales on the sides of his belly have little dimples in them. also on his belly i have noticed that his scales are wrinkly looking. is not bad but i remember reading about this being a humidity problem some where but cannot find it. his temps are any where from 75-77 on the cool side and 80-83 on the way end with a uth on that worm side. his humidity is a solid 68-70%.
what should i do, is this a problem? should i reduce the humidity?

No, it is not a humidity indicator, scales are made from beta keratins very similar to finger nails they do not change with humidity. The bends and 'dimples' are often from a snake that coiled the same direction for a long time they places where the sharp folds are often have bent or odd marks on the scales.

Scale appearances are actually a pretty good indicator of how the humidity is doing in your enclosure with Bloods

Too much and too little can cause what you are describing

Sounds like you SHOULD be ok though

Your temps are too cool all around though, so while your keeping an eye on him you may look into raising them a bit.

Is there a bowl that the snake spends a lot of time soaking in?

no i have only seen hit sit in the water dish once. i soak him for about hr and 1/2 to two hrs once a week though. for temps though i think hes comfortable he only sits in the warm end after he has eaten.
i noticed today hes going into shed
i have tried to raise the humidity above 70% but cannot get it to budge. i have sprayed it down twice a day, i have a water bowl in the cool and warm end.

anyone have any ideas?

try covering half the cagebtop with a damp towel. That should raise the humidity plenty.
