    It depends. They have a unique smell that may be offending to other people because its different than any other animal. But it doesn't bother me. It's just a ferrety smell. Like how dogs smell like dogs and cats smell like cats. *shrug*
    And it takes about a week with my 3 ferrets before I can smell any ammonia. It's my indicator to dump litter.

    I think the majority of ferrets are litter trained. Most don't want to soil their bedding or the rest of their living space. No body wants to sleep in a toilet. Haha.
