Blue Eyed Lucy. Help with Genetics.
We bought our first breeder male this week. He is a Blue Eyed Leucistic. The seller didn't know his genetics. So the question for all of you is, what Do you think is in this boy? He doesn't have the grey like a Mohave, and he has a fair amount of yellow on his back.
I'd love to hear what you all think. He's going to be bred to 3 normals so we may need your opinion when the babies hatch also!

Mojave x Lesser or Butter pairing. From all the pics I have seen that's what they look like as adults.

Definitely not a super mojo.
I wana say lesser/butter x lesser/butter or mojoxlesser/butter to say the least.
In the end, you're just going to have to see what kind of hatchlings come out.

The only possible BEL combo I can say that this probably isn't , is a Super Mojo. But it could be anything else. I've seen Super Butters look like that, I've seen Russo's look like that, Latte's, Butter x Russo's. Any combo can look like that.

Leucistics are apparently like a box of chocolates! You never know what you are going to get - until the eggs hatch.
I was wondering when this would happen. Should be fun to figure out!
Years ago the guy from CA that made the Crystals (Baker?) had collected a group of blue eyed leucistics and was going to start breeding them together. I never heard of that project again but I could see how something like that could produce leucistics that you couldn't really know what they are. I'm still at least another year away from producing my first leucistic but fun to think of them getting to the point where they are somewhat generic.

Re: Blue Eyed Lucy. Help with Genetics.
We bought him because we wanted a jumpstart. We have 3 breeder normals and didn't want to mess with producing normals. We are guaranteed to get all morphs. With that said we are years and years from producing these ourself!

I'd say that snake has some Russo/Mocha in it. Most of the BEL's produced with those genes are very white with a faint stripe. Just my two cents

Could be anything. I have seen mojo x mojo look very similar, no grey just a bit of yellow on the back and I have seen the mojo mojo with a very dark head. High quality mojo x mojo can produce quite clean bels.
The question I have is why breed to normals? Why not go to a Lesser, Mojo, or butter?

Am I the only one that thinks it looks like an Albino Ivory?
