True Indian's if you can find one are about the same size of Burms maybe a little larger. They typically are not as calm as Burms though and all though they do have a really nice colour and pattern to them as mentioned above they are listed as CITIES appendix I. The total nightmare of paperwork and permits required to legally own or transport one IMO makes it simply not worth the hassle. I know the experts have gone back and forth over the years trying to decide if P.M pimbura and P.M molurus were distinct subspecies or not. if at present P.M pimbura is being recognized as a separate sub to true Indians then, as far as I know should still be classified as appendix II and might be a better option if you’re looking for something a little different than a Burma. That is of course if you can actually find one for sale.
Well it seems that after reading the article at the top of this thread that P.M pimbura is no longer recognized so...
