Ohhh I love him and it's a funny pic! Mine has pooped in his water bowl enough that I believe he does it on purpose so no worries.

He's apparently made himself a home up there. I tried to remove him, but he wasn't having it! That background is leaning so far forward, its just about leaning up against the top perch

It's hard to tell from the photo, but it could be the thickness of your branches if it's an ongoing problem. From the photo they look very thick for a green tree that size. I've noticed that mine prefers thinner branches vs thicker.
Or it could just be he felt like it Beautiful GTP!
