    feeding question

    my BP is due for feeding tuesday he is 106 grams. the only frozen mice i have left are two 8 gram hoppers and two 20 gram mice the hoppers are way small for 15% of his weight but are the 20 gram mice ok or should i buy some frozens that are a little smaller?

    Feed him 1 20 gram mouse, as long as you do not continually feed him meals this large you will be fine, (he will grow into 20 gram mice fairly quickly)

    i think im gnna just buy some mice that are a little smaller until he grows into some bigger foods

    It's better to go bigger than smaller. Your snake is hardly going to grow if you don't feed him enough. Don't worry so much about the math, just find something that is slightly thicker than he is and feed him that. If it's about the same thickness you can feed him two if he'll take it.

    Why not just feed him both hoppers. 16 grams is about 15% of 106grams. Plus itll use them up for you.

    i have a corn snake 2 that will be able 2 eat them so thats not really a problem

    I have seen brand new hatchlings eat 20 gram meals first time, I don't see why he couldn't eat a 20 gram meal from now on.
