I can't say for sure, but I'd think that your chances are pretty good, neither of those are really cutting edge anymore so you will probably see one even at a "small show"

    Pied, probably.
    BEL, not likely.

Last time I was there, there were about 10 vendors with some BPs, most of them by Outback.
There were lots of colubrids for sale and some too-big-now Boas and Pythons cheap.
Lots of lizards, turtles, tortoises and frogs.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to drive an hour and a half to go again.
Six hours would be out of the question, for me.

You can, however, visit the nearby Manassas/Bull Run battlefields.

If you're willing to drive that far for that little, you should maybe go to the next Hamburg PA show.

I hope to go there myself someday.

Hmmm... the Hamburg one is pretty good? Perhaps I will wait for that. We have family in PA, so we could make it a weekend or few days.

My husband and I plan to go. We are close to 3 hours away. Last year we bought our Spider and Pastel Ghost. It was more vendors there in Feb 2011 than it was at the one they had in the summer. We said we wouldn't go back again. We decided we would take a drive and pick up some feeders and look around. I want a lesser or a butter I'm hoping the hubby will agree that I need one Don't feel bad about trying to find a decent size expo we are a great distance from all of them to. Oh! We did go to the one in Richmond. It was small to but they had some great looking snakes there.

I will have a breeder male pied at my table along with a pair of breeder caramels and other stuff. I might have a lucy if he doesnt sell by then. There will be some cool stuff at the show. Outback will be there and they usualky set up a good spread and steve at morph makers is usually there to.

    blueberry,

I live in Hampton, and I've been to the NOVA show a couple of times. It's really not that bad of a drive. The show is small compared to a multi-day expo, but you'll find most of the things you're looking for, especially if you need frozen feeders or general herp supplies.

As for morphs, you'll see all the basic stuff and even some of the more expensive ones like Pieds. Probably won't see a BEL since the chances of one being sold at the NOVA show are slight and most breeders aren't going to travel with a BP they don't think they can sell.

Why wouldnt ya see a bel? They arent high end. They are actually a dead end snake. But ill have one at my tables if it doesnt sell first. And when i say dead end snake i mean once you produce a white snake thats it. What do you do from there?

Whether they're dead end or not I still really want one. Are you taking him with intentions to sell?

Yea i will be taking him to sell. I shouldnt say they are dead end. Bad choice of words. i just meant once you produce a white snake thetes nothing left to do with a white snake. They are cool for breeding and lets face a clean white snake is an awesome animal to look at

I think the Morph Makers either had a BEL or an Ivory last year. Wish I would have gotten one then when hubby was buying. He wanted a Pastel Ghost though. I enjoy the drive to Manassas. Country roads . If you just want to get out of the house and be with other reptile lovers I think you will enjoy it. Take some money because I know you will see something you want. I always do.
