Recomendations for an incubator
I'm looking to buy an incubator for some small projects I'm going to be getting into any suggestions you have would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

It really isn't that difficult to build one. I don't have much more than $200 into mine. I found an old wine cooler that was being pitched, add heat tape a fan and a thermostat. It is a lot cheaper than buying a nice incubator and can hold around 10 clutches.

I am sure if you look around there will be a how to video. If you know how to solder heat tape you are all set. That is the hardest part.

The best incubators are the one you can grow into, trust me if you start breeding you will get more an more clutches over the years so the best is to get ready now.
Building your own will be easy and very cost effective, the most expensive piece of equipment will be your thermostat which is the single MOST important thing when it comes to incubation.
You can easily find a fridge for free as for the rest you will only need a T-Stat, Heat tape, PC fan, and egg tubs.

Building one is easy. And alot less then what a decent one costs plus you can build a way better one then what you can buy. I built a walk in incubator. Super easy. I used a walk in closet in my sbake room. Put up a glass door. A oil filled heater for heat source, small fan for circulation and some 5 gallon buckets filled with water to steady temp drops. Works awesome. I can incubate 90 clutches if i want to. Havent had a dead egg in it in the 8 years of using it. Before that i used an old stand up freezer with 2 strips of 11 inch flexwatt 4 ft long, small fan and cut a square hole in the door with plexiglass for a window. Worked great for along time but i needed more room

I have looked all over and no one is just giving away fridges. So I ma making one out of an igloo cooler. This is basically what I am going to do just on a smaller cooler.
