Egg laying question
So, just curious, Monday is the 28 days after pre lay shed for one of my girls. I was just wondering what the longest was that it took for your female to lay after her pre lay shed. I know 28 days is about average, right?

Re: Egg laying question
I have one girl that takes about 30 days for her pre-lay shed and and 40+ days after that to give us eggs. She does this every year, so I know to expect it now. She's gravid now and is continuing the same pattern this year.

Re: Egg laying question
30 days is the average but I have had some earlier(usually mostly slugs) and some go up to two weeks longer, probably due to lower temps IMO
