It is a shame that the burms are part of the ban. They are truly the gentle giants of the snake world. They are also some of the best looking! IMO

But they are not illegal.

You just can't import or transport them across state lines. That was the rule change to the Lacey Act. You can still own them and you can still breed them.

So on one hand, we are worried about an flood of these animals on the market due to the BAN, and now we are worried about a shortage.
