I use deli cups for babies (with an opening cut into the side) and I don't use hides for my juvies- adults.

LLLReptile has got the natural hides covered, but you need to carry the synthetic hides for us people with racks. I also use Reptile Basics hides, but have found the black plastic trays that Vons uses to store prepared meals as a good substitute. Especially for balls too big for RBI smalls, and too small for their mediums. It would be nice if I could walk into your store and pick up something similar to the Reptile Basics hides.

My ball python has this coco hut thing that I got from the table across from the ball pythons at a herp show and a tupperware container with a hole in the top for a humid hide. For my leos I've used an empty butter container and the male still has the little cup from the pet store. The sand boas have a guacomole box and a frozen mouse box.

I went to Michael's and found these little white cardboard boxes for like $1 each. Cut off the hinged lid and snipped a door in one side. When they get dirty I'll just throw them out and pick up some more.

We also use Reptile Basics for the small hides, then some plastic bowls from wal-mart as they get a little bigger. Then I found these sets of bowls on clearance at IKEA for 5 bucks. set of 3 bowls 6X6 7X7 and 9X9 all of my guys like these bowls

I grabbed a bunch cuz they were on clearance and now we're set for a long time

Most don't have hides, those that do are smaller and get plastic sandwich boxes that I pain with non-toxic acrylic paint. Cheap and easy.
