First Video - Criticism greatly appreciated!

I've been wanting to make videos of my animals for years, but never got started on it until now... So this is my frist time speaking in front of the camera and everything was off the top of my head, no script. Please let me know what you guys think and how I might be able to improve on future videos. I am planning on re-making this video after I get some feedback and scripting and rehearsing before filming the finished videos from now on to make sure they are exactly what I would like. Thanks!

Your video was very good! You don't seem to be too nervous, and your words flow nicely- like you're not trying to think of the next one, just a natural conversation.
Your snake is lovely, she's a big girl! She's pretty shiny and bright, did she have a recent shed?

The other thing that I like about your video is that it's just you and your snake. I looked for photos and videos of adult ball pythons in relation to their owners so that I could see how big I could expect mine to get. There's not a whole lot out there (I guess, or perhaps I don't know where to look). They're always being fed, or by themselves, I like that you can see her size next to you.

Very good video! For a first timer, I'm impressed (I know if it was me I would be stuttering all over the place and say "um" more then anything else).

Substance aside, I'll go into the technical aspects of the video: the lighting in the beginning of the video is decent but it could be much better.

Also, it seems like you are "distancing" yourself from the audience with the amount of space between you and the camera. Try to get closer to the camera without cutting your head off.

Finally, I would suggest getting a tripod, a night stand or a friend with steadier hands to handle the camera. It felt like Cloverfield was attacking nearby!

All in all though, you have the toughest parts down (relating to the audience in a way that seems very organic and thought out [surprising, considering everything was coming straight from the heart]). With a little work on the technical aspects, you are more then solid gold my friend!

Definitely seemed confident in front of the camera.

As far as criticism goes, try to use a more well lit area. It was difficult to see fine detail at some points. Also, like Chelsea mentioned, a tripod.

    Keep them coming!

I agree with what everyone has said so far. Overall nice video. I like how short and sweet it was. No rambling, just a simple story about her and what your plans for breeding her are. Please make some more about other snakes or your setup you have. I LOVE watching videos of peoples reptile rooms and cant wait to have my own someday!

Very nice video bro, you did get a little demon eye thing going on at the very beginning with some random lights or something and the lighting could be a tad better. As far as you tho, you were solid, quick and to the point and u showed more of that gorgeous girl you have then yourself. Very good first video!!

Thank you all that gave some feedback; I will def use it to make future videos that are much better. I'm thinking about just leaving this one instead of refilming, then going on to my next and maybe coming back to another Isis related video in the future. Hope you all enjoy my next video and thanks again!
