    Probe placement.

Hey guys, I ordered a Constrictors NW Pro-line modular cage, it should be here in a couple weeks. It's 36x24x14, I can't wait I've read a lot of good stuff about these cages. Anyway, I got a pro product 40W heat panel and a hydrofarm thermostat. I'm using aspen bedding mixed with eco earth, and was just wondering where I should mount the panel and where to place the probe inside the enlosure. I figured I'd mount the panel on one of the far sides of the cage. Is this right, I've always been old school with glass tank, foil tape, lights and misting. So I don't know much about these new cages. LOL

I would mount it to the top of the inside of the cage on the right side. I would then place the probe just under the surface of the substrate under the RHP (RHP don't overheat as easily as Heat tape does so I wouldn't be too worried about it) Don't use tape inside the enclosure, if you want to secure it use hot glue.
