    Tub Brand?

Is there any specific brand out there that has really good durability? I like my stuff to last and I see some tubs out there that I'm not sure of.

I use the Sterilite tubs. They are fairly cheap and seem to be good quality and pretty durable.

    x2.

Sterilite is good, and I use them for my rats. Don't have any problems until I bring power tools into the equation.

I like KIS omni boxes as they are very clear but rubbermaid are very heavy so they are quite good too. I am not sure it makes a huge difference actually but my advise is buy extras! The sizes change every so often and if the rack is fixed the new size will not fit... (like my old rubbermaid ones.)

    Extras are a good idea!

    Re: Tub Brand?

    Iris..Iris..Iris..
I've used tons of different makes and models and iris is by far the best I use iris tubs for babies and juvies. Unfortunately I don't have a source here where I live for tubs any bigger and so I use the 28 qt sterlite for adult corns, appropriate sized boas and the 41 qt sterlite for my male boas and growing females before they go into 4x2 animal plastics.
The iris tubs are completely flat at the bottom and are are easily and quickly cleaned compared to others .

    x2 to the above^^^!!!

I use both Sterilite and Iris and have had great luck with both. Sterilite tubs are fairly cheap and pretty easy to find but the Iris tubs are easier to clean with the flat bottoms versus rounded corners/sides. I haven't used Rubbermaids, so I don't know on their quality.

Iris all the way. We have 54 racks that use Iris tubs and a few misc racks with sterilite the girl who washes the tubs gets 5 or Iris tubs clean in the time it takes to clean out 1 sterilite tub with all the grooves and feces seem to stick to them much more then the Iris tubs do. Plus Iris has no plans to change the size of the tubs anytime soon. Sterilite has changed the tub sizes 4 times in 5 years. Save yourself the headache and go with Iris in a few years when you can't get the sterilite bins for your rack you'll be glad you did.

Off the topic I know but if your buying racks go with www.reptilebasics.com racks can't be beat for the price and there customer service is beyond top notch.

If you are using CB-70 size tubs (41qt) then Vision has their V-70 tub, it is stronger, flatter and overall better because it was designed to hold snakes.

Here is a YouTube video that shows the difference (not my video)
