im happy you found her, it always sucks to wake up to an empty enclosure
my sister used to sleepwalk, and it was always the creepiest thing i had ever seen cause i'd try to talk to her without scaring her mid dream but it was almost impossible to communicate with her, it gives me the jitters thinking about it
Yea I've never sleep walked in my life but that seems to be the only logical explanation.

I am so glad that you found your snake. There is nothing worse then waking up to a snake that is not in it's enclosure. I don't use tanks anymore because of this. My male normal used to escape from the tank all the time. I really like my tubs, lol.
My logic is falling over this. You have never to your knowledge walked in your sleep before. Correct?? and you have decided that this is the logical explanation? I would very very very carefully check the security of the enclosure you have. It seems more logical to me that the snake escaped out some over looked way than sleepwalking. If you are right no hame done if you are wrong you will have an empty cage tomorrow.
I am glad you found your snake I just am suggesting that snakes are unbelievable escape artists and are very strong and can get out of things that are quite unexpected.
What kind of enclosure is she in? I had my big boa girl in a cage with a partial screen cover. I found her two rooms away (yeah, got under the door...wth!) and stopped in the hallway bathroom to sleep under the heat vent. Inspecting the cage, it actually took me a while to figure out what was going on. She was able to pry loose a corner of the screen. It didn't look out of place, it would return to form after she crawled out.
Upgraded her to a vision. Unless she sprouts some thumbs or I leave the cage open, she's not getting out.
