    Question Losing weight, normal?

So I have been pairing since September, and my female was doing pretty good with eating during her off days away from the male for a couple weeks then stopped. I felt pretty confident with her weight she was sitting at which was a little above 1850gs. The few months or so she has lost over 50gs and sits around 1795gs. Is this normal? I still offer food occasionally but she never takes. Temps are ok. She hasn't been locking with the male the last couple times either. She was nice and thick but now I cant imagine a couple eggs growing in there. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    That's perfectly OK..
They go off feed during breeding season
Sometimes and right before ovy they eat again
    Kown as building
Then usually go off feed, and ovulation, and blah blah blah follows. :-P

Thanks for the response. I worried a bit cause I didn't see anyone else mentioning weight loss :/ only weight gain and building! Guess I just gotta keep my cool and keep being patient!

Losing 50g probably just means she pooped somewhere between weighings. I wouldn't be worried unless you hit the 10% weight loss range.

I'm very pleased that she has ate this last feeding, as well as refusing to lock. Yee good signs!
