    Scales not overlapping right

I've had Hades for 5 months and he is now around 8 months old, I don't remember him having this when I got him, but I may just not have noticed. Starting a few months ago I noticed a spot on his stomach where his scales don't over lap right. I wasn't so concerned at first except now that he's growing it seems to be looking worse. the length of the over lap hasn't grown. I was just wondering if anyones seen anything like this before. I don't think it's a cut because i feed him f/t and i don't know when he would have come into contact with anything that could cut him like that.

    any help?

Looks like a scar or possible birth defect.
I would photo document it over the next few sheds, compare it to markings and get a count of the ventral (belly) scales affected. That way you can see if its growing or just becoming more apparent as he grows.
I would also contact who ever you purchased him from and see if there is any info. (not refund, your probably way past any waranty)
