Some boa questions re: morphs and Argentines!
I tend to plan waaay in advance for pets (notable exception being Frank-the-frilled-impulse-buy) and I have a few questions about boas that I hope someone will be able to answer for me. I want to decide ahead of time what I'm looking for and how much I need to be saving up. If you could answer any or all of the below questions, I'd really appreciate it!
1. I know males tend to be shorter (which is a plus for me), but do they tend to be overly slender? I want something with a bit of heft, but not too much.
2. Do Kahl albinos generally always turn out that nice pale yellow color?
3. How much would a Kahl albino male BCI generally run? What about an Arabesque BCI? I've tried looking on Fauna and Kingsnake, but there are so many combos out there, it's hard to get a price-point nailed down.
4. Any cage recommendations for an adult BCI? I don't plan on breeding, my boa will very much be a pet/display snake, so I want something that looks nice and is easy to clean.
5. Are Argentine boas similar in temperament to BCIs? I love the dark speckled look, but it's not worth it to me if they are a temperamental subspecies.
6. Do any localities or subspecies of Boa constrictor tend to have a nicer temperament than others?
Any other recommendations, keeping temperament and my color preferences (lots of speckles!) in mind?
Again, I really appreciate any help. I've done a lot of poking around for information, but these are the things I'm having trouble nailing down.
1.0 Bumblebee (Edgar)
0.1 100% Het albino (Edna)
0.1 Normal/Dinker (Beatrice)
1.0 NG Frilled Dragon (Frank)
1.0 Patternless Leopard Gecko (Bruce)

1. Yes they do tend to be more slender, but trust me they still have plenty of "heft"
2. Yes
3. Are we talking adult or baby? A good K. albino will run around $150-$300 add arabesque and you are looking at $500-$1000
4. I like the boaphiles cages, and a 4x2 should be perfect for an adult male
5. Although I have never owned an Argentine they do tend to have a little attitude, but nothing to major (from what I understand...others who own/breed them could probably give you some more insight)
6. The different local's do tend to vary a little in terms of attitude. Just remember the "pure bred" animals are closer to a WC animal than a random redtail. Therefor they can have a little more attitude than a general BCI
If you like the speckles an argentine would be a good choice as well as an arabesque. If you like albino save up and get an albino arabesque, you will be very happy in the end!

Thanks so much for the answers. I will look into boaphiles to get a price idea.
I did mean Arabesque and albino separately, I'm not sure which I love more. I like the dark and speckley boas, but that shade of yellow is my favorite color. Maybe I'll just have to get one of each!
I would probably get a baby, since I expect it will be cheaper and I'd like to "get to know" the snake as it grows.
