    Feeder weight % variation.

Fighting out of the red corner, lying 20" long, weighing in at 182g, NEWMAN!!!

Anyways, the F/T rats I picked up are around 31-33g but slightly skinnier than his girth. They are about 17%-18% his body weight.

My question is what is a safe maximum for feeder weight if they are sized properly based on his girth?

You should be fine feeding NEWMAN those rodents, soon enough he will get bigger and they will be in the 10%-15% range.

Overfeeding is only bad when you do it over a long period of time, so in the short amount of time it it will take him to gain 20 or so grams won't be an issue.

Also those rodents are only slightly too big, (weight wise) so as I have already said it shouldn't be an issue.
