Pairing Questiion

Hi, I put my 2600gram female in with my pastel male on sunday. They breed all day and night and now they are done. I was going to keep a thing like breed on sunday through wedsnday and rest the rest of the week. So my questioin is should I take him out and wait until next sunday? thanks

I put my males in for 3 or 4 days then give them 3 or 4 days off. If I witness copulation I will shorten this time period. If they seem uninterested the next time I put them in I will give them a couple of weeks before introduction again. The time apart seems to get them interested again, maybe absence does make the heart grow fonder? and yes males do need some recovery time so dont overwork them.
