We have had our little mojave male for 3 days now. He went into his warm hide after about 3 hours of putting him in his new home. He tried to escape the cage for the first 3 hours.
Well for the past 2 nights he has been waking up at 11:30 pm. I only know this because my girlfriend is beyond intrigued by him and can't wait to get him out of his cage.
He is currently deep in shed and his eyes are blue. And he pokes his head out and its hilarious because its like he knows my girlfriend is there spying on him. He is being kept in an Animal Plastics cage with sliding glass doors. But he will poke his head out look directly at her then go back in. As soon as she walks away or quits looking he comes out and runs and hides behind a log/greenery. And will do the same thing. He will not move if she is looking at him haha. The lights are off in the room except a really dim lamp in the opposite corner of the room.
Can he see her? Or is he just able to sense that she is there? She has tried hiding in a chair about 3 foot away covered in a blanket and he still does the same thing haha.
